WSCPA Committees

Your WSCPA Membership automatically entitles you to certain privileges, such as discounts on WSCPA-sponsored educational programs.  Being a member of the WSCPA also affords you the opportunity to serve on committees. Members who participate on WSCPA committees say they enjoy:

  • Interacting and building relationships with CPA colleagues;
  • Improving their skills and exchanging information; and
  • Helping protect and shape the profession through advocacy to regulatory and legislative bodies.

“Participating on WSCPA committees is a fundamental part of my professional career. It has opened doors for me and provided numerous opportunities to network and meet new people.”
- Wendy Darcy, CPA

“When I volunteered to chair a committee, I never imagined how it would benefit me personally and in my business. I have met some interesting people not only in my field, but also in the Society. I have definitely grown professionally and increased my knowledge base.”
- Kevin Hannah, CPA, MBA, CBM, CGA

“Because of the long distance I live and work from Bellevue, I wouldn’t be able to participate in committee meetings and learning lunches if it weren’t for teleconferencing. This technology makes it possible for me to keep current on important issues and stay involved.”
- Lori Field, CPA
