Season Ticket Policies for 2011-12
*Season Tickets will NOT be processed until your 2011-2012 WSCPA membership dues are received.
Policies below apply specifically to the 2011-2012 Season Ticket and Coupons. Unless specifically stated here, all other CPE policies and procedures apply.
COST
- A Season Ticket costs $1745 ($1645 if purchased by June 30, 2011).
- A book of 10 Coupons costs $2390. 2011-2012 Season Tickets and Coupons are valid for eligible programs scheduled between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012.
BENEFITS • Season Ticket purchase entitles the owner to receive 80 CPE hours to use for eligible WSCPA CPE programs. The member fee must be paid for any courses taken after the 80 Season Ticket hours are used.
PREREGISTRATION • Season Ticket holders must register for all educational programs prior to the course date. Season Ticket holders with past due balances may not register for programs. Season Ticket holders may only be registered for six (6) programs (including programs less than eight credits) at one time. Registration is on a first-come, first-served space available basis. Walk-ins are allowed if space is available.
CANCELLATIONS • Cancellations less than five (5) business days prior to the course will result in a $25 service fee. No-shows will forfeit course hours and will receive course materials.
TRANSFERABILITY • The Season Ticket is not transferable.
REFUNDS • The Season Ticket fee is nonrefundable-all sales are final. A Season Ticket will not be issued and may not be used until payment is received in full. A Season Ticket may not be used retroactively for courses taken prior to its purchase.
ELIGIBILITY • The Season Ticket is only available to WSCPA members in good standing. WSCPA members must pay their 2011-2012 dues in full before a Season Ticket will be issued. Membership renewal statements will be sent April 10-20, 2011. If you submit your order prior to paying your dues, it will be held until your dues payment is processed.
COUPONS • Coupons are available to Season Ticket holders and may be used by anyone within the organization. Each coupon is good for any eight-hour qualifying program. Two coupons must be used together to register for a 16-hour program. One coupon may be used for two four-hour programs as long as registration for both programs occurs at the same time.
SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP • If your membership is suspended or revoked, your Season Ticket privileges will be suspended or revoked.
HOLDER RESPONSIBILITIES • A Season Ticket belongs to the individual who submitted the Season Ticket order. It is the responsibility of the individual Season Ticket holder to follow these Season Ticket rules in full. Furthermore, individuals are fully responsible for any incurred fees (such as a cancellation fee).
PROGRAM APPLICABILITY • The Season Ticket/Coupon may be used for most group-study programs offered by the WSCPA. If a particular course is not applicable, it will clearly be marked "N/A" in the CPE schedule published bimonthly in The Washington CPA as well as other promotional materials. The Season Ticket may not be used for self-study purchases or chapter programs.
ADVANCE READING • Advance reading material will be sent to the Season Ticket holder or coupon registrant. Once the material is shipped, Season Ticket hours, or Coupons, are automatically forfeited regardless of attendance at the class.
