This year's recipient of the Special Award is Russell Davis.

Special Award – honors an individual outside the profession, who has supported or promoted the activities of CPAs and the profession.

Vincent A. Gervais Public Service Award – recognizes an individual for respected leadership in both the profession and the community.

President/CEO's Award – to recognize an individual (or organization) who has made a significant contribution to the success of the profession.

Current Winner: David E. Katri, CPA, MBA

For extraordinary leadership and vision in directing the future of the WSCPA.

Dave Katri is President and CEO of Clark Nuber, where he has led the firm for the past nine years. He focuses on strategic planning, business development and firm operations.

John L. O'Brien Lifetime Achievement Award – recognizes an individual for many years of leadership and dedicated service to the accounting profession and who has served as an exemplary role model for other CPAs.

Business of the Year Award – recognizes a business that is active in volunteer service and supports WSCPA programs and services.

Current Winner: Dingus, Zarecor & Associates PLLC

Volunteer of the Year Award – recognizes a WSCPA member for outstanding service and dedication and/or innovative and inspirational leadership.

Current Winners: Christopher Hesse, CPA

New Professional Award – recognizes a CPA member who has been in the profession fewer than five years for outstanding volunteer leadership in the profession.

Current Winner: Stephanie Behne, CPA and Jennifer de Leon, CPA

Rising Star Award – recognizes a WSCPA member who is in the process of obtaining a CPA License for active leadership, dedication, and service to the profession.

Current Winner: John Hirsch

Chair's Award – selected by the Chair of the Board of Directors, this award honors a member who has provided extraordinary commitment and service to the WSCPA.

Current Winner: Wayne Borkowski, CPA, CMA, CFM, MBA
