Financial Literacy Volunteer Training Opportunities

WSCPA members volunteer their expertise and time to increase the level of financial literacy in their communities. The goal is to help children and adults learn how to handle their finances, provide for their family needs, avoid costly mistakes and prepare for their futures. Training is provided for members who would like to volunteer but not required.  It includes a chance to become familiar with the curriculum and presentation tips.

Why should I volunteer?

  • Share your knowledge with a variety of audiences.
  • Help others gain a better understanding of personal money management.
  • Further develop your leadership and presentation skills.
  • Gain additional experience and skills for your resume.
  • Create goodwill in the community for your firm or company.
  • Further enhance the image of the CPA profession.
