Beginning July 1, 2010 Audrey Godwin, CPA of the Godwin Group PLLC, will serve as President of the Board of Directors for the Women's Washington Education and Employment.

Larson Gross, PLLC recently received a Marketing Achievement Award for its website, www.larsongross.com, from the Association for Accounting Marketing. The firm also received an award in the "series print" category.

Warryn Luther, a student member of the WSCPA, has received a scholarship from Clark Nuber. She is a student at Western Washington University. The merit-based scholarship was awarded to accounting majors for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Appointments:

Elizabeth Masnari, CPA, of Bellevue and Karen Saunders, CPA, of Seattle have been appointed by Governor Gregoire to the Washington State Board of Accountancy for a three-year term through June 9, 2013.

Donald Aubrey, CPA, and Edwin Jolicoeur, CPA, have been reappointed by Governor Gregoire to the Washington State Board of Accountancy for another three-year term ending June 9, 2013. This is a second term for Don and a third term for Ed.
