Like everyone else these days, CPAs are doing more with less. And since time is a finite resource, time commitments need to be thought through carefully. The WSCPA knows this and is working on a continuing education solution that might reduce your continuing education from hours to minutes.
The WSCPA is currently piloting a new program. The whole approach is based on the space time continuum and quantum physics.
Here is the layman’s explanation. The WSCPA jets you into an alternative universe or universes. In each of the universes you obtain any given number of CPE minutes. Of course you have to sit in 50 minute chunks in each universe. As you move through the space time continuum and into each new universe you collect those minutes of CPE. You can jet through one alternative universe for a CPE hour or for 8 CPE hours, or you may want to travel and go to 8 universes and collect 8 fifty minute chunks. It does not matter. It really depends on your on your attention level or, in some cases, disorder.
Because the crew over at the WSCPA has figured out that space and time are of the same construct, they can have you back within a fraction of the time it took you to get your hour or hours of CPE in the alternative universes. In these universes you were out 8 hours, but because space and time are of the same construct moving at the speed of light, you were gone only eight minutes.
Granted, there are still some bugs to work out in this new program. In an ugly accident recently, we sent a CPA into another universe and he came back a Cognitor.
Here’s to faster CPE.
