Dept. of Revenue: Statewide Office Closure - How to Conduct Business

Due to growing concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) the Washington State Department of Revenue is closing its offices to the public March 18 - 31, 2020. This decision was made in accordance with guidance from the Governor’s Office and Washington State Department of Health and aligns with precautionary measures taken by other employers and state agencies to fight the spread of COVID-19.

Customers who need to conduct business with the Department can access services online [dor.wa.gov] and learn more about assistance available to businesses impacted by the coronavirus emergency. DOR call center staff are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. via live chat and phone.

Business licensing: 360-705-6741  

Remote sales and consumer use tax: 360-704-5900

The DOR expects to reopen its offices to the public on April 1, 2020, however extended closures may be possible.
