Join us on Wednesday, April 22, for the Governmental Accounting & Auditing Post-Conference Community Mixer.

In celebration of Earth Day, this year’s reception will highlight sustainability in both the menu and activities. This casual social gathering is the perfect opportunity for professionals in Governmental Accounting & Auditing to connect with peers and unwind in a relaxed setting after the conference wraps up.

As part of the evening, local artisan beekeeper The French Beekeeper will lead a hands-on honey extraction experience. Participants will work alongside the beekeeper to extract honey and learn how it goes from hive to jar, while also gaining insight into the vital role bees play in our ecosystem. Each attendee will take home a small jar of organic honey as a sweet reminder of the evening and a celebration of the pollinators that make so much of our food system possible!

Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and engaging conversation while connecting with fellow professionals.

Already registered for GAAC 2026? You’re all set. Attendance at the reception is included in your conference registration, no extra steps required. This reception-only registration is designed for guests who are not attending the conference but would still like to join the celebration.
