Washington Saves, the state’s new retirement savings program, is scheduled to launch in July 2027 and will require certain employers to facilitate employee participation if they do not offer a qualified retirement plan. This session will provide an overview of employer eligibility requirements, registration obligations, payroll facilitation responsibilities, and compliance timelines. Attendees will gain clarity on which businesses are affected, how the program compares to qualified retirement plans, and what CPAs should be advising clients as implementation approaches.
