As a WSCPA member, you are part of a community. We’ve long known that one of our most important functions as an organization is to provide you with opportunities to collaborate, socialize, and celebrate with your fellow members. Now, we’re expanding your ability to do so online.  Our new Connect platform gives you the ability to find and chat with WSCPA members from across the state. This member-only portal will allow you to easily collaborate with fellow committee members, share information within a resource group, or quickly ask for advice or recommendations from our community of more than 7,000 members.

This networking will be at your fingertips as easily as visiting http://connect.wscpa.org/

How to Connect

  • Log into WSCPA Connect here using your current WSCPA.org email and password. (Note: If this is your first time logging in to the WSCPA website since March 17, you will need to reset your password.) If you are already a member of a resource group or committee, you can access Connect via www.wscpa.org/mywscpa (Click My Committees).
  • Update your profile and photo by clicking “My Profile”.

Search or Join Groups

View groups you have joined or are already communicating with by clicking “My Groups,” or click “Find New Groups” to begin network with a new group. You may be missing out on relevant discussions and business tips from your peers in the Sole Practitioners Resource Group, the Firm Administrator Group, the Not-for-Profit Resource Group and many others.

Ask for Feedback or Advice

Start a discussion by clicking “Post New Discussion” from the “Discussions” tab of any group, or follow the recent discussions threads to weigh in. Please do see our etiquette page for guidelines, tips, and best practices on communicating within the platform.

Customize Your User Experience

Connect gives you lots of options for how you receive information. You have control! Don’t forget to visit the “My Privacy” and “My Email Preferences” under your account. You can set a daily or weekly email digest, and even tell Connect when you would prefer to receive emails. In multiple committees or resource groups? You can even set the email preferences differently for each group. At any time, you can unfollow a thread you’ve contributed to in the “Discussion” tab.

Evolving to Your Needs

WSCPA is excited about all the ways we will be able to continue to develop this resource to find exciting new ways to connect members and information.

Today, we know many of our members are dealing with the uncertainty and changes around the Novel Coronavirus pandemic. If you are eager to stay on top of the IRS and Treasury tax changes, looking for best practices for your team’s increased telecommuting, or want to get advice for how other businesses are managing event cancellations and travel, consider starting your Connect journey by joining the new COVID-19 Business Challenges Resources Group. In the group resources tab, you’ll find documents we’ve compiled to keep you up to date and have some key professionals in our community ready to weigh in on your questions. During this time of increased isolation and social distancing, we hope this can be a resource to keep you connected to your professional network, receiving the timely information you need.
