Industry Cohort: From Manager to Mentor: Strategies for Staff Development WEBCAST
1.0 Credits

Overview
The transition from individual contributor to people leader is one of the most underestimated shifts in an accounting career. The technical skills that made you effective don’t automatically transfer — and the professionals who thrive at the leadership level are the ones who figure that out early. This session addresses the practical realities of building and developing a team in an industry environment: how to identify and grow talent, how to give feedback that actually changes behavior, how to build a culture of accountability without burning people out, and how to lead people whose strengths look nothing like yours. Peer exchange is central — because the best insights on developing people come from the people already doing it.
