Overview

A conflict of interest can compromise a CPA’s integrity or objectivity. In this course, we discuss the rules pertaining to conflicts of interest, the types and severity of the various types of conflicts of interest, and what actions can be taken to prevent or mitigate them. This course also addresses how to disclose and document these conflicts. A number of examples are used to emphasize and explain the concepts covered in the course. NOTE: This course does NOT meet Washington State Ethics Requirements.
